Custom Event Horizon faction.
Explorers branching out of the Septant and Empire factions. Only inhabit frozen planets so all their ships are well armored and resistent to kinetic and energy damage in order to better survive the frequent ice storms that happen in those planets. The Frozen Expedition is a way friendlier faction than the Sptant or Empire, but they dont have access to the classified high-tech experimental modules developed by them.
